Washday!!!

Hey guys! How have you been and how was your weekend? I know I haven't been as consistent as I'd like to be with my posts but I'm working on it.

I took out my Kinky Twists last Thursday and I tried a few new things :D

PREPOO

The day before washing my hair, I prepood with this Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Food I got last week. I'll do a review on it after a few more weeks of using it. I prepood by oiling my scalp with it and applying very little to my hair because of how oily the product is. Then, I covered my hair with a shower cap overnight.

WASHDAY

To deep condition, I used v05 Herbal escapes Moisturizing Conditioner mixed with glycerine, castor oil and shea butter and put my hair in twists. Then, I steamed with a hot towel. You can read how I steam my hair and view some pictures in this post. I did this for about 45 minutes before washing my hair with v05 conditioner.

I moisturised my hair when it was damp with Kinky Curly Knot Today leave in conditioner and glycerine. Then I sealed with the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Food.

My hair is in goddess braids for the week because, this week seems like it'll be a very busy week for me and I want that extra 30 minutes of sleep in the morning :D

What's been going on with your hair lately?

Have a great week guys!

Oyime :)
