Product Review: Creme of Nature Pudding Perfection Curl Enhancing Creme

Hey people!! How are you and how was your long weekend? Mine was pretty awesome. I mostly hung out with friends and just rested.

I got this Creme of Nature leave in conditioner a few months ago when I was trying out new leave in conditioners. I was looking for a conditioner with no coconut oil and as little proteins as possible.

I remember my sister used the argan oil butter milk last year and she really liked it. I didn't want to use that because it had coconut oil in it but I decided to give the "pudding perfection" a chance since it had no coconut oil.

INGREDIENTS

Aqua (Water) (Eau), Dimethicone, Ceteareth-20, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Glycereth-26, Parfum (Fragrance), Cetearyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Glyceryl Stearate, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Panthenol, PEG-40 Stearate, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylisothiazolinone, CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 16035 (Red 40)

DIRECTIONS

Scoop a liberal amount into your hand and smooth downward on small sections of damp hair using fingertips. Then twist, shingle, coil or wash and go. Do not rinse. Air dry or diffuse. For curl elongation, use a blow dryer with a nozzle attachment on fully dried hair and direct heat from roots to mid-shaft.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

It feels creamy and is a bit thick. It also smells really floral and a bit like caramel. I really like how it smells.

HOW I USE IT

I use it after deep conditioning and co-washing my hair to moisturise. I use a mixture of the conditioner and glycerine, and then use castor oil or shea butter to seal.

The first few times I used it, I really liked it. It wasn't as great as my beloved Kinky Curly Knot Today but it was moisturising and it was the best I had tried this year.

Unfortunately, I noticed the last 2 times I used it, my hair was really flaking after. It's possible that it was because my hair was more on the wet side than dry the last few times I used it. At the same time, I felt like maybe it just wasn't working that well for my hair anymore so I went back to my kinky curly knot today and the difference was clear.

From other reviews I've read, mixing it with other products can cause it to flake. The problem is, using it alone won't keep my hair moisturised.

I like this product and it's quite moisturising. It was also not too expensive at N3,000 especially since the prices of everything have practically doubled this year.

I would recommend it because it's actually moisturising  and not too expensive. I'll just advise that you don't mix it with too many products.

Have you tried this leave-in conditioner? What was your experience with it?

Oyime :)
