What I Did Last Weekend: 2 Makeovers & A Birthday Dinner

Hey guys!! It's been a while! I didn't realise I hadn't blogged in 2 whole weeks. It seems I've been taking a lot of breaks and I definitely haven't been as consistent as I wanted to be this year but I'm working on it.

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy. By weekend though, I mean Saturday because on Friday, I basically prepared for  Saturday by washing all my makeup brushes. I really hate washing makeup brushes but it has to be done. You can read my post on how I wash my makeup brushes here

On Saturday, my first client of the day was Beeba of Beeba's Wardrobe. She had an engagement and she chose these bright colours from my House of Tara Margaret Ekpo palette

She sent me this selfie she took on her way to the venue and it's one of my favourite pictures of this look.

She looked really pretty and I was happy she liked it :)

My second client of the day was Yvette of Sade's List who asked me to do her makeup for her birthday dinner. She wanted bronze eyeshadow and nude lips which went really well with her outfit.

I think it turned out great and she looked lovely.

After getting ready, we went for Yvette's birthday dinner at "A Whitespace Lagos".

This sign was at the entrance and I thought it was really cool so I had to take a picture.

How creative is this? This was the dance area for after dinner.

I loved the set up for the dinner. I liked everything about it from the flowers, to the candles and even the chairs too. Everything just looked so lovely. The event planner really did a good job.

I had the jerk chicken, avocado and mango salad and it was really good and quite filling.

I had a lovely weekend and I hope you did too!

What did you get up to last weekend?

Have an awesome week guys!

Oyime :)

  1. Really love Beeba's makeup.
Everything about Yvette's party looks good, especially that Glow in the dark chalk on the wall (that's what it was, right?)
