My Valentine's Day Weekend

Hey guys!! How was your Valentine's Day weekend? Mine was pretty awesome :D. You know I haven't been out much this year so I definitely wanted to do something on Valentine's day. 

On Saturday, I had 2 makeup jobs which I really enjoyed doing. It was for Folly and her mum. I did a simple makeup look for her mum which she really liked.  

I thought Folly would like really simple makeup like the look we did for the CNN interview, but she told me I could do whatever I liked. It always makes me happy to hear that and I was pretty excited.

I still didn't want her to look dramatically different because that's not my style but I definitely wanted to try brighter lips on her and I loved how it turned out. She looked so pretty and she loved her look so yayy :D.

On Valentine's Day, I went out for lunch with my family at Hard Rock Cafe. I was looking forward to it for some days since nobody else was taking me out for Vals's day lol.

 

I had the chicken fajita and it was good. I hadn't eaten all day so it tasted really good to me.

I had a virgin mojito which was really good. It had so much sugar but since I've been cutting down on my sugar intake for some weeks I decided to enjoy it for the day.

My cousin ordered a brownie and this is what they brought. You should have seen her face when they told her this was her brownie lol. She ended up sharing it with everyone because there's no way one person can finish all this.

I had carrot cake because I figured it would have the least milk apart from the cream. The 'slice' was so big I don't even know if I can call it a slice. I couldn't  eat up to half of it so I had the rest of it packed.

The service at Hard Rock Cafe was really poor. We had to keep looking for someone to take our order and we also had to keep reminding them about our orders. I still had a good time though. 

After lunch, my cousin and I went for a movie screening at Studio of Mode. We watched a French movie but I can't remember the name. It was really good and quite hilarious. I'm definitely interested in French movies now.
