Makeup Post: My 1st Beauty Photoshoot

Hey guys!! A few weeks ago in my weekend post, I told you about how I did the makeup for a photoshoot. It was actually a fashion shoot for Mo Agusto's line but I did the makeup so that's why I'm calling it a beauty shoot.

The photographer, Toyosi Farida Kekere-Ekun had told me that I would be doing a few looks. A natural look and then something brighter and we would build up on that.

The natural look was just brows and foundation.

This was the second look. I added blush, eyeliner and pink lipstick.

This was the final look. I love bright colours so I really love these pictures. I made the lipstick brighter and added a bit of purple. I also used a little more blush.

  1. Please do you have any eye shadow suggestions for a beginner. I'm looking to start wearing eye shadow but I don't know what brand would be a good one to begin and what brushes I would need to apply the eye shadow. I use makeup but I've never applied eye shadow myself and I'm looking to begin. I would really appreciate if you could suggest where I can start from.

    1. Hello! You can start with Sleek eyeshadow pallettes. They're very affordable and quite pigmented. The pallette you get will depend on if you want simple eyeshadow or something bright but they have a very wide range to select from. To apply eyeshadow you need blending brushes and an eyeshadow brush. You can get them at any makeup store or on Amazon. You can also watch YouTube videos so you can learn how to apply eyeshadow. I hope this helps :)
